I've added stuff about Jim's upcoming arc on Wildcats. If it sucks, edit it. I think it does the guy justice, though. SAM-EL
External Link
I propose to put a link towards a gallery of various variant covers of Jim Lee. This is the link : http://abcovers.free.fr/index.php?option=com_ponygallery&Itemid=0&func=viewcategory&catid=2 I think a cover gallery on the wiki page of an artist is appropriate, do you think this it is?Kaperni | Talk 17:02, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
- No, as a more complete and ad-stamp-free cover gallery can be found at the Art of Jim Lee link which is already provided. rst20xx 14:27, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
Jim Lee didn't co-create Gambit! I'm changing this in the article. 144.32.128.155 18:16, 30 June 2006 (UTC)Don
yes he did, Claremont and Lee created the character in Uncanny X-Men vol. 1, issue 266. I own a copy, and I'm looking at it as I type this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.214.99.252 (talk) 15:40, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
C 23
Jim Lee also created a series called C 23, unfortunatley, I can find no mention of this on the internet anywhere. It may be worth having some mention of it on the page. It had a card game based on, part of the 'Arc System' line. Unfortunatley, I can find no reference to that ether. Am I losing my mind, or is this some sort of conspiracy? Move to DC comics
In this section of the article there is a sentence that reads:
"In 2005, Lee teamed with Frank Miller on the new series All Star Batman and Robin, the Boy Wonder, a series plagued by delays and ridiculous insanity."
Can someone please tell me what "plagued by delays and ridiculous insanity" is supposed to mean?
That is hardly the language of an encyclopedic article. I'd clean it up myself, but I am not familiar with the series, so I would not know which direction to take the comment.
Input, anyone? --JohnDoe0007 (talk) 11:45, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- It sounds like that should have been a direct quote from the source, in which case, NPOV issues go away.loupgarous (talk) 07:38, 15 February 2014 (UTC)
Michael Way's Comic Counsel?
This section seems pretty pointless, given that there's no reference to what "Michael Way's Comic Counsel" is, and it appears to be all speculation anyway. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.27.56.101 (talk) 08:48, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
I'm inclined to agree, being the only reference for it is an MTV news article, that does nothing to explain anything. Arc Lamps & Signal Flares (talk) 05:28, 2 November 2009 (UTC)

Carla is not Jim’s first wife or the mother of his oldest child(ren)
On page 3 of this 2022 Riverfront Times article about Jim (https://www.riverfronttimes.com/news/comic-industry-superstar-jim-lee-got-his-start-in-st-louis-37644037?storyPage=3), it’s mentioned that one of the reasons Jim left Marvel was because they wouldn’t buy his pregnant wife a plane ticket to accompany him to a comic auction. His wife’s name is mentioned as Angie, not Carla. This would have been around 1991, prior to Image’s founding.
This Wikipedia article mentions that Jim’s oldest child is 23 (according to a source from 2016), which means he/she was born around 1992-1993. I believe this is the child Jim’s wife, Angie, was pregnant with in 1991.
Additionally, Carla doesn’t look old enough to have a child who would now be over 30 years old, though this is only my opinion.
This article currently states that all nine of Jim’s children are from his current wife, Carla, but should be amended to mention that at least one of them is from a prior wife named Angie. 2600:1700:4B0:55F0:2823:17B:2C0E:A81 (talk) 16:32, 1 June 2024 (UTC)
