Moral Panic in 1983
I changed the date of the Daily Mail's campaign against this book to 1983 from 1987. By 1987, Section 28-like bills were already being drafted and it would be too late to have been a cause of Section 28. See [1] for detailed account from the author herself.
Also, I copied some of the text of this document into my essay on Section 28, if you don't mind - if it really was the original cause of Section 28 it's just too important to leave out. --Axon 16:45, 8 Nov 2004 (UTC)
