1) Should it be pointed out that Baxter was named after James Keir Hardy? It gives some more context to his parent's politics. For what it is worth he is usually known as James K Baxter in NZ.
2) The name Hemi is the Māori version of James. It would be more accurate to say that "he adopted the Māori version of his name (Hemi)" rather than "he had adopted a Māori name (Hemi)"
3) Similarly Hiruharama is a transliteration of Jerusalem.
