Nigel HaAdmor

What about him? in a show about him they interviewd Shi, Subliminal, Liron Esek Shahor and many more and all said he was the one who brought the colture here... Can anyone elaborate on that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.139.217.1 (talk) 20:37, 15 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Un-titled entries

"Shay 360" should be "Shi 360" - it stands for "Supreme Hebrew Intellect" User:TooJewForYou

Why was this moved here? "hip hop" is two words. Tuf-Kat 03:48, 21 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Easy to fix, which I did. — FREAK OF NURxTURE (TALK) 01:33, Jan. 21, 2006

Yes, I know Wikipedia is geared toward the laymen (or layperson if you prefer), but this article should at least look more professional. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.210.109.220 (talk) 04:05, 4 May 2007 (UTC).Reply

Athena

The link in Other known hip hop crews and rappers for Athena is wrong. It currently links to the Greek goddess of wisdom. Not knowing who Athena is I am not going to remove the entry but I will remove the link. There is a link to Athena (band), a Turkish ska punk band. on the Athena Disambiguation page, but this does not seem to be the correct link to me so will not add it to the article. Neutral POV?

"Israeli rappers, on the other hand, have a more conscious style to their lyrics [than American rappers]." Hardly neutral POV, this is a value judgment and cultural aggrandizing. Fundamentally, no categorical difference can be isolated concerning the lyrical substance of the entire body of hip-hop in two cultures. Modify, perhaps one should note the difference between the American rap that manages to get marketed in Israel and the entire corpus of American rap, or acknowledge differences in cultural context. At the very least, show sensitivity to the divide between mainstream/independent music marketing, or (even better) drop this point altogether. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.21.77.200 (talk) 06:53, 7 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
