Section on criticism
How about we also add a Criticism section just as with some other articles. I’m sure there won’t be a lack of topics to write about. For one, we could start with the constant disregard for civilian life. In a neutral manner of course. 5.25.6.148 (talk) 18:04, 6 April 2025 (UTC)
- Doesn't sound like you're approaching this in a neutral fashion, but in any event, Not done -- this is not a proper edit request in the format of "Change X to Y". Before doing so, make sure you've *thoroughly* reviewed WP:NPOV, particularly the portions that talk about why criticism sections are to be avoided: Template:Tq; Template:Tq ⇒SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 03:16, 7 April 2025 (UTC)
- The edit request may not be in a proper format, but the request itself is reasonable, in that a section about the wrongdoings of the IDF - reported by reliable sources of course - is entirely legitimate. It belongs to the essence of an armed force to know about the way it conducts itself, and how that conduct relates to international views on legitimate warfare. - 1) No, it is not "entirely legitimate" -- as I have already told you above, our policies specifically instruct us to avoid the inclusion of segregated criticism sections due to the likelihood that they will be used in a POV manner; 2) you are disallowed from simply "airing your support" in this topic space, per the very noticeable bolded instructions at the top of this page: Template:Tq. Again, either make an edit request in the proper format, or cease this line of inquiry.
