How to edit

Wondering how to edit this State Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. States standards might help.

Agriculture section: organic farming

Although I'm a great supporter of organic farming, I can't see any justification for the first para. of this section being dominated by a discussion of organic farming in the state, especially as it's less than 1% of farms there that are organic. Boscaswell talk 22:20, 4 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Notification: Housing in Iowa

A request has been submitted to WikiProject Iowa for a new article to be created on the topic of Housing in Iowa. Please join the discussion or consider contributing to the new article. Best regards, -- M2545 (talk) 16:41, 28 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

National anthem

I dont want to remove it in case I am wrong but I would be surprise if a German song about a Christmas tree really is Iowa national anthem. Remij00 (talk) 00:35, 21 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Pork

Interestingly, the entire page does not contain the word pork. The section of agriculture is greenwashed, stressing sustainable farming . I will flag it. Wuerzele (talk) 20:41, 1 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

2020 Census Data

Most (all?) of the articles for cities in Iowa have a demographics section containing data from the 2000 and 2010 censuses. I am planning on adding sections to all of those articles with the 2020 census results. This will result in hundreds of articles being updated. Please let me know if you object to this, or if you know that this updating will occur in some other way! PopePompus (talk) 01:55, 4 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
