Article name

The usual practice for our articles about activities is to put them under the "-ing" form, as in stamp collecting or mining, and redirect objects and doers to that topic, at least until it gets very large and needs to be split. Stan 23:10, 22 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Keeping insects as pets

What about collecting insects for the purposes of keeping them as pets and/or battling them with other peoples' insects, and enjoying watching them metamorphose and grow older?

Maybe something like insects as pets, insect rearing would be better for that? See also insect fighting (and its cousin, spider fighting). Richard001 (talk) 06:57, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

Merge from Entomological equipment for mounting and storage

I just came across Entomological equipment for mounting and storage. It's generally unreferenced, but I do like the layout, especially the non-lead content. Seems like it would fit well in place of the current text at this article in the section that links there right now. I personally wouldn't have time to do this for awhile, so I thought I'd put the merger proposal up for now at least. Either way, the equipment article largely seems unneeded as a separate article.
