Information about expansion into Washington state
On February 29, 2024, In-N-Out announced plans to open a store in Ridgefield, Washington. The company submitted a development plan for a restaurant, which if approved by the city would make it the first location in the state.

- I think we should wait until it's approved and they announce an expected opening date. Restaurant chains submit development applications all the time but not all of them are approved. --Coolcaesar (talk) 22:32, 2 March 2024 (UTC)
Texas Distribution Center update
Minor update, but for accuracy's sake: the Texas Distribution Center is located in Lancaster, TX, just south of Dallas; not IN Dallas. (Not to be confused with Lancaster, CA, where In-N-Out has store locations.) In-N-Out did have a temporary corporate office in west Dallas, but that closed and relocated to the Lancaster Distribution Center when it opened in the Summer of 2018. (Source: I've worked at the Lancaster Distribution Center since it opened in 2018.) Drw1926 (talk) 23:55, 7 June 2024 (UTC)

Can we shorten the page's name to just In-N-Out?
Adding the "Burger" in their name is unnecessary, and every time the company's name is mentioned, it's always "In-N-Out Burger." why can't we just type In-N-Out and call it a day? 2601:18C:601:C720:6935:3189:E27B:4FEF (talk) 22:25, 11 January 2025 (UTC)
- I prefer "In-N-Out Burger". It's the name used by the company, and it's in the logo. Dan Bloch (talk) 03:28, 12 January 2025 (UTC)
Reason for name
I suppose the origin is that, as a drive through, it had prominent in and out signs. It would be good if this could be mentioned and referenced. Jontel (talk) 15:40, 24 January 2025 (UTC)
- Do you have some source indicating that your supposition is correct? Every source I've seen suggests otherwise. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 16:47, 24 January 2025 (UTC)
How can I improve this table?
I am a new editor but took a stab at adding a table of locations. I would love some feedback! I was personally looking for a simple way to see locations so I thought it would be beneficial.
Option 1: Add specific location addresses and specific dates for ones that will be opening.
Option 2: Remove the table, it's not necessary.
Of course candid feedback outside this scope is also appreciated. Thanks! 🥑GUACPOCALYPSE🥑 22:11, 8 May 2025 (UTC)
Closure of In N Out Headquarters
There is a picture of the In-N-Out Burger's headquarters in Irvine California on the summary section on the right side of the page. In-N-Out has announced that they are consolidating their two main headquarters by closing the Irvine Headquarters and moving entirely to Baldwin Park Location.
When there is an official, current photo available of the Baldwin Park headquarters it should replace the photo of the Irvine building. Samsonthesailorman (talk) 18:30, 11 May 2025 (UTC)
- We need to wait and see what is the new headquarters address. The latest California Business Search filings from the Secretary of State show that the company is still identifying University Tower at 4199 Campus Drive in Irvine as its official address.
- At some point, either In-N-Out will take a photo of the new headquarters and then authorize the Wikimedia Foundation to reuse it (as they did with the Lynsi Snyder photo already in the article), or a WP editor like me will eventually find an excuse to get over to Baldwin Park and take a photo. At that time, we can put the photo of the new headquarters in the infobox and move the current photo into the body of the article to accompany the history of the company. --Coolcaesar (talk) 19:29, 11 May 2025 (UTC)
