Category 6?

Hi everyone, I have recently read that the Saffir Simpson hurricane system has been criticized for not including top end category 5 hurricanes like Rita or Wilma. Does anybody think there should be a Category 6, say for hurricanes with winds over 180mph. Just a thought. Don't know what everyone else thinks. Personally, I think there should be a Category 6 added. Now I'm not saying that I don't like the Saffir-Simpson Scale as it is, but what harm would be done if one or two more categories were added? --Ryder Busby (talk) 05:13, 28 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

It's misleading. Engineering-wise, wind speeds past the Cat 5 threshold will severely damage buildings. Titoxd(?!? - cool stuff) 05:16, 28 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Honestly no because anything with 157+mph wind will destroy buildings. Andrew was a low end C5 and it flattened everything in its path. PoisonCarnival8 (talk) 02:22, 26 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Deaths wikitable not displaying properly in mobile browsers

The Deaths wikitable's rowspan property does not seem to properly work on mobile browsers. In full Desktop mode, the table looks fine, with all counties and parishes consistently falling within their corresponding column. But in Mobile mode, certain counties/parishes are showing up instead spilled into the states' column. Something seems to be wrong with the wikitable mechanics under mobile mode, especially the mechanics surrounding the rowspan property.

Although I discovered this issue in this specific article, it is possible it might be also happening in other articles. SilSinn9821 (talk) 02:36, 5 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Effects in Texas article

Bringing cat 3 effects to the region; it killed 113 people. We should make an article as most effects were here. --67.85.37.186 (talk) 01:14, 11 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
