History Section?

I think it would be a good idea to add a History Section, with mentions of George Earle, famous people, school accomplisments. Perhaps a homage to Don Howell would be a bit much, but Hobart is more colorful than the data from the 2000 census.

Consider it done.

can't you put something in here about William Revelli? He was legendary! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Daelynn92 (talkcontribs) 20:14, 12 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

External links

The External links section needs to be smaller, there are several links that could be used as an in line citation instead. -Jahnx (talk) 09:38, 8 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Trivia

Just saw Hobart mentioned (twice!) in an old Law and Order episode, "Blood" from 1997. Of course they mispronounce it the same way the Chicago weathermen do. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.227.77.90 (talk) 12:46, 18 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Can't think of any other specific episodes, but I know Hobart got mentioned in more than one L&O episode and at least one L&O:SVU episode. Always figured that a Hobartite was somewhere on Dick Wolf's staff.Gtwfan52 (talk) 09:09, 22 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Transit

Could the locals create a section for transit, especially to Chicago? Most city pages have bus and train information. This one doesn't. 2605:E000:AA14:FA00:B0B1:35F5:6E3A:6570 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 22:03, 20 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
