Do you know of a reliable source which says that he wrote in English, Russian, and Arabic? I have searched, and failed to find any mention of his doing so. If you can provide a reliable source then that will be very helpful, and the information can of course be added to the article. JBW (talk) 16:48, 9 August 2024 (UTC)

Moving the Page Name

• Comment WP:DGUIDE states an exception for historical figures whose names were anglicized. I think Ho Chi Minh may fall under this category, however you can entries of his name on other Encyclopedias to show that most of them do use the form of his name with diacritics.

• Oppose per WP:ENGLISHTITLE and all the overwhelming opposition arguments in the previous two RMs, of 2005 and Talk:Ho Chi Minh/Archive 2#Requested move 10 October 2021. It's simply not true that "diacritics must be retained regardless of language". Ho Chi Minh is the usual English spelling. The diacritics are meaningless to most English-language speakers.
