I found out that the information promoted by wikipedia.org and spread through other search services about me is totally wrong. I never was under investigation for corruption. The truth is that I asked the Romanian Anticorruption Prosecutor Office to investigate the information released by the press on the use of funds from the Leonardo da Vinci program. The result of the investigation on the members of my family was issued by this authority on the 20-th of December 2003, published in the press, and available in the archive of the mentioned authority. There was no confirmation of misuse of funds. The content of this program has nothing to do with investments as you are mentioning in your statement. In this respect, I appreciate as incorrect and unfair the information you issued on this webpage. Please let me informed about the existing possibilities to correct this information.
