Was his treason alleged? The fact remains that the guy did not revoke his Polish citizenship yet broke the Polish law (both pre-war and post-war) by joining the military of the enemy. As simple as that... [[User:Halibutt|Halibutt]] 21:34, Oct 4, 2004 (UTC)

Attacked by the communists

This information was originally added by User:Cautious[1] - it's plausible, of course. I will see if I can find some sources on this. UweBayern (talk) 20:26, 25 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Why he is not described as German-Polish in the introduction

1) He never held political office in Poland, and the political career which is notable took place in Germany.

2) He was of German ethnicity, a member of the German minority in Poland when he lived there.

3) The term "German-Polish" would usually mean someone of German origin who did something notable in Poland/is currently living there.

Herbert Czaja was an ethnic German who only became notable as a politician in Germany. He was a Polish citizen in his youth, but this information belongs below where it is appropriately dealt with. It is completely misleading to describe him as a Polish politician. UweBayern (talk) 20:33, 25 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
