I ain't no expert on this album, the Eagles, pop-culture metaphors, or Hell, but the last sentence in the introduction seems to be a might bit facetious for encyclopedic standards. Apart from that, extreme cold being better than extreme heat seems more an issue of personal preference than actual fact. Should the colon after "apt" be a semi-colon? 66.133.180.69 05:20, 11 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

I thought this article was about when hell was actually going to freeze over. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.38.65.11 (talk) 12:27, 11 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

I believe it was Joe Walsh who joked with the audience, not Glenn Frey — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.222.137.209 (talk) 21:15, 15 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

It's my understanding that the actual phrase regarding an eventual Eagles reunion was "..It will be a cold day in hell when the Eagles get back together...", hence the album title "Hell Freezes Over" since they did get back together. This is mentioned in the documentary section of the DVD. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Acastaneda24 (talkcontribs) 17:28, 16 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
