"spoken by the people of Tanzania, west and northwest of Lake Victoria"

Land northwest of Lake Victoria is in Uganda, not Tanzania. Is the language also spoken in Uganda, or is 'northwest' an error? - MPF 22:21, 6 Jun 2005 (UTC)

star wars

" It is one of the languages in Star Wars." Pardon?! JackyR 22:34, 10 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

This was probably meant (it is on the referenced page): In Return of the Jedi, the voice of Lando Calrissian's copilot, Nien Nunb, was provided by a student speaking Haya, a language from the young man's native Tanzania (Star Wars Insider #67, 31). I feel unable to decide if it is worth mentioning or not.Drabek (talk) 16:57, 3 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

actually west

The Haya reside in Kagera, actually west of Lake Victoria. I also find it highly unlikely that a Kenyan would speak Kihaya/Ruhaya/Luhaya unless he has Tanzanian parents. Can anyone find an audio clip of this statement? Kipsang Rotich is definitely NOT a Haya name.

Kipsang Rotich is definitely a Kalenjin name; the Kalenjin language is not even distantly related to Haya. I'm going to delete the trivia section. --72.196.115.66 (talk) 21:53, 3 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
