Which Hamilton is the county named for? Is it named for Alexander Hamilton, like Hamilton County, Ohio is? --rogerd 18:21, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Playground of Indianapolis
I lived in Hamilton County for fifteen years and Indiana for 28, and no one once referred to Hamilton County as the "Playground of Indianapolis" in my presence. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.226.90.222 (talk) 02:27, 24 April 2013 (UTC)
