Name?

Isn't it meant to be HMS Téméraire, not HMS Temeraire?

That's a really good question. A random sampling of my navy books seems to suggest that accents are dropped as part of coming into the RN, and it makes sense given the audience (non-French-speaking sailors, for instance), but I don't have anything that that says that in so many words.
