Just changed the Sandwich Maker bit to read Manufacturer. My understanding is that Subway actually produce more sandwiches in a day, But Greencore make the most pre-packed units. I believe their official teminology is that they "manufacture" the most. :) JW ;)

Their could be the potential of a separate article in this with sufficent history, etc? Djegan 14:22, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

Conflict of interest editing
It looks as if there may have been some conflict of interest editing here. User:Evansgreencore has consistently failed to respond to notices on their talk page. Dormskirk (talk) 12:20, 14 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hi there, I have literally responded to a message earlier today explaining the reasoning behind the edits. I simply wanted to point out that we now have a new CEO at Greencore, that started in September - I can't understand why this edit hasn't been included and that you would prefer to have a picture of an office that Greencore left 10 years ago. Here is evidence of our new CEO, if required: https://otp.tools.investis.com/clients/uk/greencore_group_plc2/rns/regulatory-story.aspx?cid=1175&newsid=1583274&culture=en-GB Evansgreencore (talk) 13:04, 14 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hi - I have now removed the photo of the office and have also added the name of the new CEO to the infobox. The fact that you say "we now have a new CEO at Greencore" suggests to me that you work for the company. The correct procedure, per WP:COI, is that you should propose changes here rather than making the edits directly. Please read the information on User talk:Evansgreencore. Thank you. More history needed
The article says "was established in 1926 in Carlow as a private enterprise known as the Irish Sugar Manufacturing Company, Limited. The Sugar Manufacture Act, 1933 was passed to promote self-sufficiency in sugar manufacture; this Act was brought on by a crisis in the industry and resulted in the nationalisation of sugar manufacture." This needs more explanation, with information on what sugar was manufactured and what the crisis was.71.230.16.111 (talk) 07:59, 14 December 2023 (UTC)
