"Some green manures such as cloved are also leguminous, containing nitrogen-fixing symbiotic bacteria in root nodules." Should the word CLOVED be changed to CLOVER in this sentence? Sammydirectproduct 16:46, 11 August 2005 (UTC) Template:AbotReply

Green manure = Green fertilizer

I removed: , also be referred to as green fertilizers,. I found under 1,000 references to the exact term in Google, and most of the contexts in the first 20 or so that I checked weren't used as synonymous with green manure (for which there are about 88,000 exact phrase entries). Personally, I haven't heard the term. It doesn't as of yet seem to warrant a major entry in the article. Tsavage 12:40, 21 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Merge to cover crop or vice versa

These are essentially identical topics, which should redirect to one or the other depending on which is the more established (older or more complete) article, while merging non-redundant information. Apothecia (talk) 18:19, 26 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure. Green manure seems like a subtopic of cover crop to me, possibly meriting a subarticle and summary style treatment in cover crop. The approach of both articles to the general subject might stand to tweaking, thus making a distinction more apparent (if there is one). But I'll agree that the current level of information in this article suggests merging to cover crop. —/Mendaliv//Δ's/ 13:29, 3 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Nutrient creation

In the first sentence there is a link to "heterotrophic bacteria", but the page does not exist as there is no need. The link should be split into "heterotrophic" and "bacteria", both of which articles exist. Nikolaneberemed (talk) 22:38, 21 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Table near top is very old data

The table at the top is from Pieters, 1927. That is very old data and I think it should be deleted or replaced with more recent data. Andrew McGuire A6m7mcguire 22:24, 24 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
