Wondering how to edit this U.S. County Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Counties standards might help.
It has always been my understanding that Floyd County, not Grayson, had the highest average elevation among Virginia counties, despite the single highest point being Mount Rogers in Grayson. However, now that I think about it, I'm not sure exactly how this would be calculated or verified, and it may be akin the measuring the length of coastlines; the result depends somewhat on the criteria for the measurement. In any case, the assertion here with respect to Grayson County is not sourced, so I'm snipping it for now. I'd like to hear from anyone who has a basis for or against it.
