Nathaniel2256, I'm not going to challenge your edits to the infobox, as reverting would not resolve an issue, but what you say about the cameras is probably correct but clearly editor synthesis of primary sources. Moreover an infobox must summarise and not supplant the main text. Has any source discussed cameras in Grange Hill, that we can describe in main text to support your edit? Thank you for understanding my edits. I will need to find sources that prove this theory, as simply saying "the ending credits" may not supply enough evidence that my edits on the camera section is 100% reliable. I just believe it's single camera from 1978 to 1985 and then 1999 - 2008. The 1999 part is true as source 13 in the References state this change. I thought the 1978 part may be true because the Television Centre-era of Grange Hill would have "Film Cameraman" in the ending credits (in the scrolling credits, not the still ones like in Series 1), which indicates a single camera was used. Then, in 1985, when part of Grange Hill moved to Elstree, the BBC no longer credited the cameraman/men and simply had "Camera Supervisor" which makes be believe this is when they switched to multi-camera. Starting at around Series 14 in 1991, the BBC added a "Cameras" section, indicating more than one camera was used to film the same episode. But then, in Series 22 in 1999, it went to "Camera Operator" with only one person credited, meaning they've switched to single-camera shooting. This is what I've found so far, but I will try to find sources to conclude if my theory is true or not. Nathaniel2256 (talk) 13:05, 2 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. Good luck with the search. I'll post back gere if I find anything too. Sirfurboy🏄 (talk) 19:50, 2 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
