POV pushing
Restoring POV content saying that you have re-worded it when the only thing you have changed is replacing "with" with "including" is misleading. Hindus were not the only ones to be prosecuted as evident from the body and inquisition was primarily about people who were already Christians not about Hindus, this article is a massive POV mess and needs a thorough clean up. As always, the WP:ONUS is on those seeking inclusion. - Ratnahastin (talk) 02:05, 28 December 2024 (UTC)
- Your objection was that Hindus were not the only ones affected, so the sentence was reworded to clarify that. The content is clearly true, as evidenced in the body. The body also states that the vast majority of those persecuted were done so under the allegation of being practising Hindus, so I feel the aggressive edit summary is a bit unwarranted.Template:PbHowever, if you would like to be a bit broader in inclusion, would you prefer Template:PbTemplate:Tq

Template:PbYour edit summary is just your conjecture that uses the timeline to assume he had little to do with the inquisition, but the section, small enough as is, is clearly relevant. Theres some content in the ast two paragraphs that can be trimmed, but given St. Francis's stauture, his suport for the Inquisition deserves mention. Template:PbI would also advise that WP:ONUS is not a free ticket to blanket remove any material you disagree with, especially when there is someone attempting to adress your concerns. Nowhere in the body is there anything about "violent" or "forced conversions" or that took place in Goa, I checked three of your sources and neither of them supported this claim of violent and forced conversions. Saint Xavier's quote about calling for an inquisition can be re-added and some details about his background in Goa, but any details beyond that are just WP:COATRACKING. - Ratnahastin (talk) 06:07, 28 December 2024 (UTC)
