It's always different in New Jersey
Go-go bars are basically equivalent to Gentlemen's Clubs in New Jersey. Entertainers cannot be fully nude or even topless in an establishment that serves alcohol. The only topless or fully nude clubs in New Jersey are juice bars or, rarely, BYO clubs. Whether that's worth incorporating into the article I'm not sure. (And if I had a dollar for every tip I've given to a go-go dancer, well, I guess I'd be even.) Al 14:13, September 8, 2005 (UTC)
Go go bar or go-go bar?
The lack of hyphen in the title of this article is little surprising. Most of this article's content uses the form "go-go", as do the articles about go-go dancing and go-go boots. There are some examples of the unhyphenated "go go" out there, but typically not in the context of go-go bars (such as Go Go Gophers). Does anyone know of a reason why this article's title is unhyphenated? Does anyone object to the idea of proposing a move to go-go bar (which redirects here anyway)? - Polly Tunnel (talk) 16:36, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
- File:Yes check.svg Done: go go bar moved to go-go bar as no objections raised. - Polly Tunnel (talk) 11:44, 5 July 2018 (UTC)
