"settlement" by Europeans

Reworded the sentence about "first settlers" to clarify meaning (i.e. first Europeans) - the original phrase is highly contentious in Australia since it implies that there was no native title over the land prior to its occupation by Europeans. Aikidesigns (talk) 07:06, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
