Re: Later success

"In 1968, veteran goaltending legend Jacques Plante joined the Blues, sharing duties with Hall. The two put together a fine season and both won the Vezina Trophy at the end of the 1968–69 NHL season."

The Vezina Trophy went to the goalie or the goalies on the team with the fewest goals allowed. It couldn't be any other way, nor were Hall and Plante the first pair to win the trophy, so this sentence with its emphasis on "both" isn't very reasonable. Just say that they won it. What's with that photograph?

"Figure of Glenn Hall from his days with the St.Louis Blues."

Is that a statue in a display case or something like that? (If he really had a storm door in front of his goal, no wonder he was tough to score on!) ;) WHPratt (talk) 22:01, 30 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
That photo went away some time ago, in case anyone is wondering. It was ... unusual. WHPratt (talk) 16:58, 1 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

ill-chosen photograph

Caption reads: "Maurice 'The Rocket' Richard, (right) scored his 500th goal against Glenn Hall, becoming the first National Hockey League player to achieve the feat." That's NOT Glenn Hall in the goal as Richard scores. Looks like someone in a Boston Bruins uniform. Well, the caption doesn't SAY it's Hall, but in any event, it doesn't belong in this article.
