George Jay Gould II

That the death date is unknown is intriguing and I have read an anecdote about Benny Binion that may clear this up somewhat:

The story is that a very wealthy old and sick man was in Vegas at some point after Binion had opened the Horseshoe, so this would be after 1950 and probably later. He wanted to play craps for higher stakes than other casinos would allow so he was directed to Binion's. In this story, he was supposed to be a descendant of Jay Gould, altho it is vague. But could this in fact have been George Jay Gould II?--Jrm2007 (talk) 08:04, 6 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

George Jay Gould IGeorge Jay GouldGeorge Jay Gould – per MOS:COMMONNAME: the subject is most often referred to without any suffix (user-generated genealogy databases aside). Disambiguation is presently unneeded: The second George J. Gould (II or Jr.) is likely not individually notable: aside from rote checklists of born-to, betrotheds and begots, he seems to have done very little of note. --Animalparty!
