Problems in article

• also as 'Sambar' by his critics. Sambar a Brahmin food and he being a Tamil Iyer, so he was bullied with that name.

The meaning not WP:OBVIOUS.

• Shouldn't his children be mentioned much before his death. Also, by which wife or affair, he borne them should be clearly stated.--Redtigerxyz (talk) 12:17, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

Improvement

Date of birth

Some time ago, an IP changes his year of birth from 1920 to 1919. Today, Ravichandar84 changes it back to 1920 with the comment Template:Tq. Both changes were made right in front of a reference which when followed tells you he was born in 1925. Do we not have something to support 1920? Or even 1919? We can't leave it like this with the ref not supporting the text. Who "widely accepts" that it is 1920/19 and where, please, did they verifiably say so? Thanks! Sad to see no response here but never mind, I have fixed it with the Independent obit which supports 1920 and has the advantage of being nice and accessible and legible too! Always happy to discuss the sources, of course, but in the absence of anything else I feel this will do nicely. DBaK (talk) 17:56, 20 February 2020 (UTC)

There is a biography of his written by his daughter. The year in the biography is either 1920 or 1921, definitely not 1919 or 1925.-Ravi_{My Tea Kadai} 14:03, 14 May 2020 (UTC)
