Jealousy/superiority complex

"The show features an unusual style of humour, where many otherwise normal parody sketches are permeated with an underlying theme (which somewhat breaks the fourth wall) of the jealousy that French has for Saunders, and the superiority complex of Saunders."

Apart from not being a sentence (it looks like "in which" is missing after the phrase in parentheses), this suggests that French is actually jealous of Saunders and Saunders feels superior to French. Is this what is intended, and if so, it is true? Not that I'm aware of. It's more likely that this refers to an act they put on in their sketch shows. — Paul G 15:33, 28 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

It is just an act that the duo have, though at first when they met they didn't like each other I think its just a bit of humour based around that.

Poorly labled DVDs

Has anyone else noticed this? The DVDs aren't labled "series 1", "2", etc. It would be nice if the article would tell you which of the DVDs covered which series. --RyanTee82 (talk) 03:01, 18 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

2007 Doctor Who sketch?

The episode listing for A Bucket o' French and Saunders mentions a Doctor Who sketch made for the unaired fifth episode. This is the first I've heard of this, and I can't find a reference to it anywhere online. Does anyone have any more information about this, or ideally a reliable source for the information? —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 20:02, 5 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

running time

What is the running time of each, or of the average, episode??? Someone who has never seen the program (e.g., me) would be interested. A duration of "30mins" is given for three productions, but for no others that I saw. I think this is a critical piece of information, especially in light of the statement that "the show was given one of the highest budgets in BBC history." 184.18.199.68 (talk) 17:04, 23 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
