Inclusion of number of episodes in a main TV role
In the “Freddie Highmore” article, one contributor seems to consider it important to remove the information stating the number of episodes he did of Bates Motel (50 episodes) and of The Good Doctor (126 episodes)?
The number of episodes for someone who performs in a main role is generally included in Wikipedia articles as worthwhile information. The “James Arness” article shows how many episodes he did of Gunsmoke (635 episodes!). The “Raymond Burr” article shows how many episodes he did of Perry Mason (271 episodes) and of Ironside (194 episodes). As more recent examples, the “Vera Farmiga” and “Richard Schiff” articles show the numbers of episodes they did opposite Freddie Highmore (50 episodes for Vera Farmiga and 121 episodes for Richard Schiff, respectively). Is there a rationale for making the "Freddie Highmore" article an exception? UPU898 (talk) 10:50, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
Proposal: Remove or Reword Unproduced Projects
Several projects listed in the article—Baby Face, Long Distance, and Homesick—were announced with some detail, but there have been no updates since, and it appears they were never produced. The article currently presents them in the future tense ("he is to play," "Highmore will also serve as," "Highmore will co-write and serve as...") which may be misleading. I suggest either updating the language to reflect that these projects were announced but not realized, moving them to a new section (e.g., "Unrealized projects"—this could also include Sinner v. Saints), or removing them entirely if no reliable follow-up sources can be found. Lisztomaniac 08:40, 27 May 2025 (UTC)
