Composer project review
I've reviewed this article as part of the Composers project review of its B-class articles. This article was raised to B by a bot, because the Biography project rating was B. I find this rating is not deserved -- the article is missing some things expected of biographies, and other things expected of composer biographies. My full review is on the comments page; questions and comments should be left here or on my talk page. Magic♪piano 13:54, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
Survival of his music?
I own a CD called "The Music of Francis Johnson" (Music Masters Jazz, 1994). It includes compositions purported to be Johnson's as well as those of some of his contemporaries. Most of the music could be described as band music, performed on the instruments of the era. Therefore I was surprised to see in the article the claim that none of his music survives except piano scores. Can anyone provide any illumination?Carlaclaws (talk) 16:36, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
