Blurb for DYK

Did You Know

...foot calvary was an term of contradictory words combined to describe the rapid movement of infantry troops of General Stonewall Jackson during the American Civil War?

Calvary?

Hlj moved this from foot calvary to foot cavalry, as cavalry is dudes on horses but calvary is a hill near Jerusalem. Unless this is some weird archaic spelling, I guess the DYK entry should also be fixed. -- Finlay McWalter | Talk 11:38, 5 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Rockfish Gap and Blue Ridge Tunnel

Why are these in the See also? I'm sure that it was because Jackson used them, but neither article mentions it. --Habap 15:56, 15 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

I added some sources, but this article needs to be polished, I do not have the ability to do so. but I do know that the information in here is accurate. -Robert Short,Sr. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.248.244.2 (talk) 05:56, 17 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
