Food science has a lot more to do with nutrition and human health than is suggested here. There should be more focus on that side of things. Haoie 01:18, 4 September 2005 (UTC)
The list of subjects in the article seems rather arbitrarily chosen. The article should be either more comprehensive, or simply contain an exhaustive list of links to the relevant subjects.
We should add a section on careers in food science.
Food science departments
I removed the university food science department external links. There may be a case for this in a list, separate, or within the article, but, it just looked like a few ads for programs: master programs here, undergraduate here, so, just discuss the appropriateness here please. --KP Botany (talk) 12:56, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
When and where was the first advanced degree in food science awarded?

Merge Food science, technology, and engineering
Normally they're not separate, see, e.g., Careers & Education in Food Science, Technology & Engineering. Fgnievinski (talk) 16:53, 2 February 2015 (UTC)
