Oddly enough, most of us are not from, or don't currently live in Buenos Aires. Mariano(t/c) 14:03, 27 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Paging Mariano: Can't people just pick up Creative Commons-licenses pictures from Flickr? (All CC licenses are OK?)

Fresco or Seco?

The pictures of Galeria Pacifico, are they actually fresco? I recall them being "seco" paintings, but my recollection is very faint. Anybody? elpincha 21:03, 7 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Mall” versus “Shopping Arcade

In the “Calle Florida” article, the word “Mall” or “Shopping Mall” is synonymous of a mall accessible only by motor driven vehicles with ample parking lots in suburbia and furthermore, it denotes the phenomenon of “Suburban Sprawl”, therefore the word “Mall” is not a good selection when we speak of a city designed on a pedestrian scale, in particular when the article refers to a pedestrianized street, for this reason i feel that “Shopping Arcade” would be a better choice, its internationally adaptable, effective with the new tendencies in urbanism and city planning, plus it gives a flavour of quality and elegance to the street.
