Does anyone know where to find Miranda's letter to Woronsoff? This quote is all over the internet but there is no official source. I haven't been able to find it in published books of Miranda's letters. Any help would be much appreciated. Anamarialeon (talk) 22:39, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
Lithuanian flag

Miranda and national flag
There is mention in the article about Miranda seeing a painting of Christopher Colombus unfurling a banner with these colours. The coat of arms of the Colòn family is red/yellow/blue. Given that Gran Colombia was named after him, is it a stretch that the flag is derived from his family arms? Torchist (talk) 13:19, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
