Vegetarianism

The article quotes Brockway as saying "I am a vegetarian and I have been so for 70 years. On the whole, I think, physically I am a pretty good advertisement for that practice".

However, Brenner went to Detroit in the 1960s to meet Stanford Ovshinsky at his home. He ate oxtail soup and said in response to his alleged vegetarianism "Oh no, I am long past that. Out of habit."

It is not possible that he was a vegetarian for 70 years as he was eating oxtail soup and commented "he was long past" his vegetarianism. Psychologist Guy (talk) 23:22, 10 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

I see the above is contradicted by his own book 98 Not Out published in 1986 where he commented on page 122, "I remain a vegetarian, a pretty good advertisement for it after nearly eighty years" [1]. Psychologist Guy (talk) 23:44, 10 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
