Inclusion of the trolleybus

I removed '* In 1882, Werner von Siemens presented the world's first trolleybus in Berlin' but should it be included? Darrelljon (talk) 10:01, 31 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Wuling bingo

Can somebody explain why the Wuling Bingo is being added and then deleted again multiple times?  Stepho  talk  01:42, 4 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

It’s being added because it fits all the criteria needed for the table. It’s being removed for no apparent/appropriate reason. Please undo any vandalism removing it. Vaulttechsony (talk) 04:31, 4 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hello @Eem dik doun in toene

Perhaps you would like to read our article on Hannah Ritchie and see if you agree Chidgk1 (talk) 18:01, 1 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hi Chidgk1. Just because she's a data scientist, doesn't mean the reference is reliable, as it's still a blog. She's also conducting a very simple research, looking at the prices of cars online (something I could have done). Especially for sentences like "However second-hand prices of electric and combustion cars are similar", you need a far better source, and preferably more than one. The sentence seems also incorrect, as Ritchie only mentions the UK market, so it isn't a general statement. In my home country the (2nd hand) ICE cars are still far cheaper than their electric counterparts, for example. Cheers, Eem dik doun in toene (talk) 18:23, 1 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
Ok so perhaps second hand prices are just too country specific for this article. Or perhaps we should just mention the big 3 markets of USA China and EU? I don't live in an EU country but if you do then do you know if secondhand prices are similar across the EU? Perhaps UK market is different from EU due to left hand drive? Chidgk1 (talk) 09:21, 2 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
Bwoah I don't know the prices of ECs in most of the other EU countries, and e.g., how much the governments subsidize these ECs (which also influences the prices). I've yet to come across a good source which mentions these things, so for now it indeed seems best to leave it out. Eem dik doun in toene (talk) 10:30, 2 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
