Why does Gothic Blimp Works redirect here?
- I think only because no one has gotten around to creating the stub for GBW yet. If you know even enough to write a couple good sentences about it, please create the stub. It's a worthy subject! Let me know if you have any problems. ike9898 22:57, Jan 12, 2005 (UTC)
- Gothic Blimp Works was a short-lived (eight issue) tabloid published by EVO, as a spin-off from EVO's comic pages. So it makes sense for it to be here... I'm not sure much is gained by having a stub for it, but there are a couple of sentences in the current article that could be pulled out to get things started. If somebody wants to devote a more extensive article to GBW alone, the linked article about EVO plus Patrick Rosencranz's book on underground comix would be good resources. --BTfromLA 23:57, 12 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- Sorry, I didn't see the Gothic Blimp Works bit in the article, very much my bad.Boffy b 10:13, 2005 Jan 13 (UTC)

It's not worth mentioning in the main article, but trivia collectors and completists may want to know that the last co-editors of GBW were two two cartoonists exiled by Rat and the women's takeover, J. Schenkman and V. Howell. We knever managed to get any more issues out, and I don't remember why we bothered to accept the offer of the title (nor gave it to us, or why), other than it sounded good.
