Duchy vs Dukedom

A duchy is the territory or geopolitical entity ruled by a duke, whereas his title or area is often called a dukedom.

This sentence isn't sourced and contradicts the Duchy article.

OED online, Cambridge Dictionary, and Collins English Dictionary all support the Duchy article that both terms can be used to refer to the land held by a Duke. IJMacD (talk) 07:06, 30 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
