Dragutins Pseudonym "Apis"...

Dragutin was a Freemason, and the Apis-Bull of ancient Egypt is a symbol that is well known there (fe. Friedrich Schiller`s "Hieroglyphen"). Also the term "Apis" is Hellenistic Greek (deriving from Old Egyptian and Coptic), while the Serbian noun for Bull is Bik (бик). So it's more likely that Apis either was his masonic pseudonym or even just an inside joke. Some sources also state that it was an abbrevation for his full code name (Apis and Bee, or figurative: Apis ie. Leader of the Bee-Hive) in the Black Hand.--212.95.5.154 (talk) 20:45, 11 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
