I dont think Dragon Ball Kai is actually licensed by Crunchyroll/Funimation

Dragon ball gt mention

I could find a lot of secondary sources, included in WP:A&M/ORS, specifically calling it a sequel, but probably few or none reliable ones calling it a "sidesequel". I don't. I threw that out as a suggestion since it's not canonical to the storyline per the series creator. Official sources can have information wrong too, but that's more of a philosophical debate in my opinion. Subsequently, Dragon Ball Diama (or whatever the new anime series is called) is a sequel to Dragon Ball Z that takes place before Dragon Ball Super. Met4lGod76 (talk) 03:16, 6 January 2025 (UTC)

Doesn't this article give far too much weight to the English dub?

The English version is just one dub out of the dozens of languages this show was dubbed in, there's an entire section just dedicated to one language dub which is rather lengthy

isn't Wikipedia supposed to provide a worldwide perspective of topics?, keep in mind that just because this is the English Wikipedia doesn't mean just people from English-speaking countries use it, people from all over the world use it, and I don't think info about the English version of a show that wasn't originally produced in English is particularly helpful or relevant to them

This is revised on a case-by-case basis. WP:MOS-AM notes the importance of mentioning a series' release in English-speaking countries, and in DBZTemplate:'s case, the extensive history of dubs and distribution warrants mention. Just a reminder, each language edition of Wikipedia follows its own policies, guidelines, and standards. On the English Wikipedia, we focus on the series' English-language distribution, and per WP:NOTDIRECTORY, we generally avoid detailed coverage of releases in non-English-speaking regions.
