http://www.ecssr.ac.ae/Land/Dhow.html Does not seem to work and the target website has no search result with the word "dhow"...
The stamp appears to show a felucca, not a dhow. In fact, the article at felucca shows the same stamp. Can someone confirm?69.181.120.218 12:36, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
Please also mentions the Persian name of Dhows: Lenj. --92.4.124.200 (talk) 15:29, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
Picture positioning
One of the photos is positioned so that it covers some text. This problem with pictures occurs in many other articles as well. The other photos are also positioned so that the [Edit] links are jumbled together. Any way to fix this? Musicguyguy (talk) 04:22, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

File:Dhow znz.jpg to appear as POTD soon
Hello! This is a note to let the editors of this article know that File:Dhow znz.jpg will be appearing as picture of the day on September 6, 2012. You can view and edit the POTD blurb at Template:POTD/2012-09-06. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page so Wikipedia doesn't look bad. :) Thanks! —howcheng {chat} 21:12, 5 September 2012 (UTC) Template:POTD/2012-09-06
Relevant sources?
"Some historians claim the dhow was invented by Arabs or Indians, but the majority give the credit to the Chinese.[1][2]"
The sources given for this claim seem rather unacademic, could we find a different source that actually shows how 'most' historians credit the Chinese with the ship? 83.83.1.229 (talk) 09:31, 23 July 2014 (UTC)
