The articles Morea and Despotate of Morea need to be more clearly defined, if two articles are needed at all.--Wetman 08:49, 16 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

I don't see the confusion. Morea is about a geographical entity, while Despotate of Morea was a political entity. Bear in mind that the latter didn't cover all the territory of the former until quite late in its existence. It's a bit like the difference between Great Britain and United Kingdom. -- ChrisO 17:27, 16 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

I am not sure (me greek is not good enought) but i think than this greek page : http://el.wikipedia.org/wiki/Δεσποτάτο_του_Μυστρά "despotate of Mistra" is probably the greek interwiki of thi page. Miniwark

Good catch - thanks! -- ChrisO 09:29, 2 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Albanian presence

According to Norman Davis, a number of Albanians settled in Morea due to the Ottoman takeover of their habitats. taking shelter in Morea, being one of the chunks under Byzantium. The point of being invited to help the economy is P O V based on modern perceptions. So I propose that this sentence be edited. ---MJDANikhila —Preceding unsigned comment added by MJDANikhila (talkcontribs) 19:36, 16 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
