Missing "per thousand", maybe

American women are remarkable , but it’s hard to believe there are Template:TqBri (talk) 02:55, 30 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Possible typo in Nationality Chart

Within the introductory table on the right, I'm seeing "Mixted Latino (6.12%)". I don't see other references to Mixted elsewhere so probably just an input error. 216.83.83.25 (talk) 15:15, 10 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Nationality table in infobox

A table of nationalities was added to the infobox by @2800:40:2F:73E8:78AB:256B:45DC:E5C6 on 4 May 2024 in Special:Diff/1222161032, sourced to this US Census page. Recently @Kevinb1999 changed one of the entries from "Polish" to "Greek". I went back to the Census page to verify whether it says Polish or Greek, but I am unable to find anything about nationality in that page. Can anyone else see where this data is coming from? total population, total adult population

Where is this info? Espoo (talk) 03:12, 8 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Life expectancy figures

Life expectancy figures in the infobox look bogus because according to the UN data US' LE is 78 years not 80.8 years as this infobox shows. 203.81.242.123 (talk) 12:27, 21 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Out of date religion reference

The reference on the pie chart for religious affiliation is from 2021 and contains data from 2020, while the chart claims to have numbers from 2023. Where is this data from? Worst Username (talk) 07:07, 20 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Table sorting is broken

The table with first data column labelled...

"Ancestry[189][190][191][192] Number in 2022 (Alone)[193]"

...Doesn't sort properly on the numbers. Perhaps they are not stored or labelled as integers? Or perhaps something else about the table formatting is interfering with the sort triangle button? 2600:4040:5AEF:B400:B712:5B49:9895:6C3B (talk) 13:03, 2 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

LGBTQ Section

What is the point of having an LGBTQ section in demographics in the United States? They are a small minority of people and there is no reason to highlight how many there are, Every other section makes sense but yall just have to throw that in there obviously can tell what group of people run this site Dreadpirate43 (talk) 00:08, 15 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Dreadpirate43 because the census bureau has the data and it's part of basic demographic research to study family structure? EvergreenFir (talk) 00:12, 15 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

Population distribution tables can't be expanded

There are two tables under the § Age and sex distribution section that are automatically collapsed, but which extend the full width of the page, even on the 'wide' appearance option. Depending on the font size selected by the user, one or both of these tables extend under the right-floated 'Historical Population' table, which means the [show] toggle cannot be clicked, as it is not visible to the user.

I'm not sure how to fix this, but perhaps the table should be changed to not be collapsed until a solution is found. 104.246.217.149 (talk) 04:12, 30 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

template:Too Long

Somebody added this template to the top of the article. They then didn't bother to add any ideas on this discussion page about how to solve this problem. That is not very constructive, and the template should be removed until somebody has something positive to add here. Besides, this article has the same format as similar articles for all other countries. Twopower332.1938 (talk) 16:04, 4 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

"Self-reported" ancestry, and missing ethnicity sub-section

Race and ethnicity contains a sub-section titled "Self-reported ancestry". Why is the "self-reported" distinction being made for ancestry? Everything about demographics is "self-reported". The race is self-reported, gender, age, everything.

Also, where is the previously mentioned ethnicity sub-section? Either there is an unnecessary switch to the use of ancestry as a synonym to ethnicity, or there is a missing "Ethnicity" sub-section in this article. Johnalexjay (talk) 02:13, 23 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
