Where exactly did you hear that Turbonegro invented death punk? I'm pretty sure the term has been around much longer than Turbonegro as a synonym of Death Rock and horror punk. Some people would argue that The Misfits invented Death punk. they've been writing punk rock songs about horror and death since the 70's. I have therefore moved a somewhat edited version of this article to Turbonegro as it seems to describe a single band more than a genre, and redirected this article to Death Rock
