No mention of his connection with opium? It's mentioned in the "Fleshing Out ..." book - Sparky 21:52, 17 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Second wife vitals?

What is the source for his second wife? The Franlkin book has the 1877 date for Elisabeth Dwight Woolsey, but the New England Dwight family sources say Theodore Dwight Woolsey's daughter Elizabeth Woolsey died in 1843.[1] Would be odd if he named another daughter "Elisabeth" spelled that closely while this one was still alive. Might be a mistake in that book, but have not yet found vitals of this one. Need research.

She was the niece of the Yale president, with whom Gilman was long acquainted.[1] Fixed in text. MarmadukePercy (talk) 01:05, 3 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
