Reproduction
It seems the mating process is copied from the Dragonfly article. But the behaviour of damselflies are bit different. The "Intra-male sperm translocation" happen them after forming the tandem position. This picture illustrate it. Jee 14:12, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
- This does not appear to be a rule for damselflies, apparently there is variation - see the abstract in Script error: No such module "CS1 identifiers". but maybe worth including in the article. I will add it with the picture. Shyamal (talk) 02:57, 23 July 2016 (UTC)
- True. I overlooked it as it seems talking about the entire order, including dragonflies. Now I found in Corbet (1962, Biology of Dragonflies, page 180) an example for "before the male grasps the female with his leg" (Coenagrion puella). Jee 11:10, 23 July 2016 (UTC)
