Another leading encyclopedia suggests that there is a genus Tityra in this family too. Is this true? Pcb21| Pete 02:19, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- As you are aware, taxonomy is fairly fluid at present. Handbook of the Birds of the World the standard for Wikipedia, and most other modern sources put the Tityras in the tyrant flycatcher family. jimfbleak 05:49, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just modified one external link on Cotinga. Please take a moment to review my edit. If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit this simple FaQ for additional information. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/web/20090302073659/http://www.museum.lsu.edu/~Remsen/SACCBaseline.html to http://www.museum.lsu.edu/~Remsen/SACCBaseline.html
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at Script error: No such module "Banner shell". Template:Tlx).
Cheers.—InternetArchiveBot (Report bug) 10:12, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
