I've no problem with the articles being merged, but it would require an edit in the original 'Fourier transform' article which lists each as seperate links. Redirection perhaps



I don't see why both of these, the "continuous Fourier transform" page, and the "Fourier transform" page aren't all merged together. The current approach is more modular, perhaps making editing easier; but their combination would make the information that much more accessible to readers. At the very least, "continuous Fourier" and "Fourier" should be merged; there is no reason not to have the mathematical description of the general transform on the general page. Since the sine and cosine transforms are major special cases, I think they should be merged with the other two into a single page more completely describing the Fourier transform. 128.163.254.72 10:20, 2 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
