Isn't this text a bit to Anglo-centric? Surely, comp. lit. exists in other language and cultural spaces too. (E.g. Komparistik in German)

I've made a small correction, to identify H. M. Posnett as Irish rather than as a New Zealander. He did each for a decade in Auckland, but he was born and lived his whole life otherwise in Ireland, including when he wrote his book, so it seems more apt to describe him as an Irishman.
