History section has too much text of recent events.

The history section of the article has too much text about recent protests on campus. Seems like a case of recency bias. There are other articles, e.g. 2024 Columbia University pro-Palestinian campus occupations, so there should be only a brief summary of one paragraph in this article. --Engineering Guy (talk) 07:38, 15 March 2025 (UTC)

MESAAS

In the sentence

“In 1928, Seth Low Junior College was established by Columbia University in order to mitigate the number of Jewish applicants to Columbia College.”
